As much as I hate to see the end of Summer, Autumn always arrives in a blaze of colour with the promise of cosy fires and hot fruit crumbles to look forward to.
This year I have been especially inspired by the beech leaves on the hedges lining our farm tracks and this has led to the creation of these Textile Leaf Necklaces.
First came this green one which I married up with some beads to give it a bit of weight.
Necklace £9.95Today I constructed more fabric in beautiful rich autumnal shades adding this copper circle to give the weight. The shimmer of the voiles I used really makes this neck piece catch the light when it is worn.
I wanted to make a matching set so I've used these swirly copper coloured buttons to give a simple focal point to both the necklace and the cuff.
